Week 4 – The structure of the script outline
I decided to discuss the sound design in the game from the point of soundscape. The sound design of a game includes many aspects, such as music, Characteristic sound effects (e.g. lightsabers in Star Wars), and the choice of NPC‘s voices (this relates to character, such as Siegmeyer of Catarina in Dark Souls 3, whose voice sounds muffled because he wears a helmet). All of these elements have to do with the immersion of the game, but why did I choose soundscapes? Because I feel that soundscape is fundamental. Whether it’s a game or a film, we need to build a scene first. We need a foundation and then we can add things on top of that.
This is my structure.
