Week 10 – Feedback on tutorial

In yesterday’s tutorial, the tutor said there still have some areas could be modified, and the main issue should be the deal of the detail.

The first point is that when building the sound environment of a space, the sound of the space itself should not be neglected. Bathroom, apart from the water sound created by human activity, also has a tone that comes with the space. this is the basic sound of a space.

The second point is that a small fade should be added at the end of the musi. I hadn’t added a fade before because I wanted the music to sound like it was ending abruptly, but this would have created a small break between the two sounds join together. Adding a small fade would have avoided this problem and makes the music sound like it is coming to an abrupt end.

The third point is the sound volume and orientation of the objects in the space. The volume and position of the sound should be adjusted and changed according to the proportion and position of the objects in the picture. The sound of vinyl record rubbing against stylus is always present in the bedroom space. And the sound volume and position of the vinyl record player is different when it occupies the whole frame and when it is not in the frame, so it should be adjusted according to the content of the frame. The ringing in the bar at the end is also the same.
