Second list of sound effects
The MA students have changed the icons for the objects that connect and collide in the game interface from black line patterns to colourful, cute squares. The link and collision sound effects that were made last time are no longer appropriate. They asked me to look at the style and feel of Teacup Head and Townscaper, as they decided to refer to the Teacup Head art style. There were a lot of options given this time, as there was no more time to receive feedback and then revise, so having more options might make it a little more efficient. This time the synthesizer was still used, but in addition to that, I recorded some sounds from the mouth. I watched a video on how the Teacup Head sound was created, where he opened his mouth and then flicked his cheek with his hand to complete a sound effect. And the sound effect in the Townscaper gave me the impression that the sound was made by flicking the tongue against the palate, then tweaking and modifying it.
The sounds of the synth used here are mostly combined sounds, and there are many adjustable buttons. So I can separate the combined sound into two different sounds in the left and right channel by adjusting the values in the stereo option and then combine them freely, which gives me more and more possibilities.

Another thing that needs to be changed is the countdown sound, the countdown pattern will be replaced with a small train, so I used the toy train sound. Reference to the Thomas & Friends cartoon I watched as a child.

The last thing is the sound effects for the duck toys that I didn’t give last time. I found a few more lovely sound effects while using the synth this time, and wasn’t sure where could put them, hopefully, they’ll end up being used.
