Project 1 – Reference – Memoria

“It’s a rumbling sound …… like it’s coming from the heart of the earth, then it shrinks …… it’s like metal, but heavier …… “In these abstract descriptions, the audience is also taken into a highly personal imaginary space where we feel the powerlessness of words and vocabulary on the one hand and can only keep on and struggle to express exactly how we feel on the other. For a while, the failure of communication is accompanied by an unrelenting desire to express ourselves, successfully weaving this important layer of loneliness and alienation in the film’s text.

The loud noise or explosive crashing sound in your head is an illness – “exploding head syndrome,” a type of sleep disorder.

The disorder is not particularly painful, but you will want to share it with others so that they understand but it’s tough to describe …… it’s a lonely disorder. After all, the sound exists only in your head, and only you can hear it.

This film provided me with significant inspiration. The unrelenting desire to express, and the voice exists only in your head, the failure of communication, the feeling of loneliness and alienation.
