Project Description:

We are interested in making a narrative adventure game related to the human body.

1. show how hormones (e.g. dopamine, oxytocin) affect our emotions and thus focus on mental health. For this, each level corresponds to a different emotion and the player will need to manipulate the ratio of various hormone levels in order to achieve the specific emotion required by the level’s objective. In this process of helping the protagonist, the player will also recognise the diversity of emotions that can be displayed.

2. In this idea, we wanted to build the human body as an amusement park, using the structure and nature of different body parts and transforming them into rational mechanisms (for example, in the stomach, the player needs to use the red blood cells as a safety point to avoid the stomach acid), with a cartoonish and absurd style of artistic expression.

Sound List: It is not certain what sound effects are needed at this point, this will need to wait for the MA students to produce the rough game before we can be sure. The same goes for the music, we need to wait for the MA students to give us a definite art style for the game before we can start working on it.

Schedule: The MA students did not give us an exact time frame and we are currently unsure when they will be able to complete the general framework of the game. But we will try to finish the sound before their deadline.
