Thoughts on future work

My mind was very clear, after the lecture of Visiting Practitioner Rachel Simpson that games were the area I wanted to work in. Another area is the film, especially animated films, and I find that I love these virtual worlds that are built with audio-visuals. Rachel Simpson has been working in games for 16 years, but in those 16 years she hasn’t just worked in games, she’s a freelance sound practitioner. It’s a state I envy, not just being in one field, I can work in whatever form I’m interested in. Before that I was addicted to watching films, now I’m addicted to playing games, and there are many possibilities for the future. I would still focus on the sound design of the whole work and the production of sounds other than music, because right now I’m still not very good at producing music, but I’ll always master it in the future, optimistically, maybe next year. Probably the happiest thing for a creator is to make something that somebody like.
