Project 2 – Initial selection of instruments
24 solar terms – based on the rotation of the Big Dipper and were the basis for the ancient Chinese to determine the changes in the seasons
Our game levels are designed to be built according to the 24 solar terms. There are 24 levels according to the 24 solar terms and six solar terms in a season, so 6 levels are part of a section corresponding to the four seasons.
Spring – Beginning of Spring, The rains, Awakening of Insects, Vernal equinox, Tomb-sweeping, Grain Rain

In general, the meaning of the spring solar terms is the melting of the winter snow, the return of spring to the earth, the revival of everything, and the rain falling. So we chose the image of water droplets, and because the color tones are pink and green, I picked out some crisp and crunchy instruments sounding like water drops falling on a ceramic plate.
Summer – The Beginning of Summer, Lesser Fullness of Grain, Grain in Ear, Summer Solstice, Slight Heat, Great Heat

Summer, heat, farming, and cicadas, hence the tentative designation of the ball’s appearance as a cicada pupae. So, I want two extremes of instrumentation, one muffled and one high-pitched. But I haven’t found a suitable muffled instrument yet.
Autumn – Beginning of Autumn, the Limit of Heat, White Dew, Autumnal equinox, Cold Dew, First Frost

Autumn, hazelnuts, orange, and purple would give me an overall feeling of Zen, so the choice of subdued tones and instruments with a hint of Buddhist overtones also suited the texture of the hazelnuts.
Winter – Beginning of Winter, Light Snow, Greater Snow, Winter Solstice, Lesser Cold, Great Cold

Winter is the last season, and it is also the season that ushers in the new year, which are festive solar terms, so I chose instruments that sound festive. And also need to match the texture of the snowballs.
Then the next plan is to test relevant sound codes in Unity.
